Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a credit card required for booking parties of 5-8? Will I be charged?

Our dining room seats 44 guests at full capacity, as such, all of our ordering, and staffing is done with our weekly bookings in mind. Last-minute cancellations and ‘No Shows’ make it impossible to plan, and they prevent other guests from experiencing our food for the evening. As such, we require a credit card for larger parties of 5-8 people to secure your space. You can cancel or change your booking before 24 hours for free, after that you will be automatically charged a $20 cancellation fee per person. Parties of 7 and larger are asked to order the 3-course Prix Fixe option, and a 23% gratuity will be added to the bill.

How often does the menu change and why?

The menu is written weekly/daily by our Chef de Cuisine, Porter Lewis.  Every week, at least one item will change because nature is eternally in flux, and we are constantly morphing our dishes to playfully respond in harmony to what she offers.  We design our menu around what is coming in from local farms (with a special partnership with Dark Wood Farms), as well as what whole animals we are butchering and utilizing from local ranchers.  The structure of the menu (starters - pastas - mains) remains constant, but the individual expressions change based on need and inspiration.

I don’t understand how your menu works.  Can I order a la carte?

Yes you can order dishes in an A la Carte style, as well as with our 3 or 4 course Prix Fixe format. The 3 course offers a choice of a starter, a pasta, and a main course, and the 4 course offers the same with the addition of a dessert. The Prix Fixe is priced at approximately a 10-15% discount off the regular rate. Prix Fixe cannot be shared between guests.

Can I bring in bottles of wine?

We do not offer corkage.  Our Wine Director puts in tremendous effort to craft a wine list that is adventurous, approachable, and perfectly compliments our food - give our wines a try!

Is the restaurant kid-friendly?

Certain food-loving kids can have a great time at our spot, however, we don't generally recommend bringing along children under the age of 10 due to the more refined nature of our dining room.
